There is nothing left but hard work.
I said this same line a hundred times at Possible, and I got the nod of agreement each time. It’s all hard work and hustle now. This isn’t exclusive to our industry, either. The easy work is gone.
So if you’re going to do hard work, make it matter.
That’s why I believe operations-focused individuals are well-positioned during this complex time. On the one hand, you can assist in reducing costs. On the other hand, you can help generate more revenue. Do both, and your impact is even greater.
No one said you had to work alone.
That’s why our events are designed the way they are. All I hear at other events is how great the networking is…the content, not so much. There is no reason to choose between the two. If the content is planned properly, you’ll find that within our larger tribe, a smaller tribe that is working on the same problems as you.
Human connection and trust will be the currencies of the future.
This is a relationship-based business on many levels. The people trying to automate those relationships aren’t the people WITH the right relationships. ChatGPT can tell me it cares about me, but it never will. So why would I give it everything and people nothing? Publishers need to re-establish or build stronger relationships with our audiences and advertisers.
On Tuesday, bring your energy, collaborate, connect, and do the hard work of leaning in and not sitting back. In the process, you’ll help build a better industry for publishers.
SOLD OUT. Not able to attend? Follow along on LinkedIn.
Enjoy your bank holiday today! We're working fast/furious on the agenda and have more to share this week. The agenda is still expanding and sharpening, and so is the room.
Raise your hand to attend Navigator London if you’re ready to challenge assumptions, push for real outcomes, and make the work better.
Beeler•BASH is back! No agenda. No pressure. Just your people.
Every year, early June rolls around and we’re reminded that no one throws a party for the people who actually keep our industry moving. So we do.
Beeler•BASH is the one night where AdOps and publisher folks like you get to come together off the clock. No keynotes. No panels. No sales pitches. You don’t need to prep. You just need to show up. The drinks, music, food, and camaraderie will all be waiting for you.
See you on June 4 at RUMI in New York City.
Want an invite? Request one.
P.S. This is for publishers only, folks.
We’re not waiting until next year to have the conversations that matter.
After THREE sold out events, Digital Day Camp is returning to Toronto on October 22, 2025. And the mission remains the same—bring Canada’s digital media leaders together for a working day built around honest conversation, real collaboration, and forward motion.
We’re proud to continue building this experience alongside David U.K. Because the challenges are real, but so is the opportunity.
If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves, bring your perspective, and help drive the next chapter of Canadian digital media, let us know you’re interested in joining us on October 22. We’ll share more details soon.
