A couple of testimonials we’ve received about last week’s AdTech Economic Forum in London:
- “Finally, we have an event that brings clarity and focus to the next wave of innovation.”
- “What a great event, showcasing a broad selection of the most innovative solutions in Ad Tech right now. If you want your finger on the pulse of the next big thing, this is a must-attend event!”
Hearing 11 pitches in a day from AdTech companies sounds like… a normal day for anyone in operations. Here’s the difference: these companies had to explain their value proposition quickly to potential customers AND share their financial plan to be worth an investor’s time. For me, it added a layer of understanding of what these companies must do to succeed. I appreciate start-ups in a way I had not before. I consider the barrier of entry into our space to be low, but the barrier to long-term success is much, much higher.
The event was also optimistic. As I keep saying, there is nothing but hard work left. The low-hanging fruit is gone. Here’s the thing: we still have people willing to do the hard work. As long as we have that, we can grow as an industry.
AdTech Economic Forum New York on March 19th is a different format and won’t be, “Dragons Den meets Newsnight - maybe with a sprinkling of Graham Norton,”that London was. It will, however, be a must-attend event for those who want to see how the industry is evolving. The money follows innovation; therefore, it makes sense to follow it…. Register today.
But before ATEF NY (as we call it), there are two things to make sure you do:
Read this Q&A with Jeff Bernard, co-founder of ADOMIK, about their Q4 2024 report. We dive into trends in curation, online video, and how the open marketplace is evolving.
Second: Would You Go Ahead and Get Your Ass to Base Camp?
A clever title doesn’t make a session, but they sure are fun to come up with. They also help quickly explain that the difference between Base•Camp and other events - we are playing for keeps. We work hard to make these sessions impactful well beyond the time we spend at the event… even harder than our session titles. Here are a few to give you a sense of where we are going:
- If CTV is the Holy Grail of Media, are we Monty Python?
- Can We Get Loud? (let’s discuss getting publisher voices heard!)
- How does Your Stack Stack up? (no pancakes will be hurt in the making of this session)
Thirty-two plus sessions over 3 days. Almost all are roundtable discussions with your peers. Sign up today before we tell the hotel you’re not coming.
Planning for Navigator New York (and Navigator London) has begun, and there is nothing like figuring out how much content and networking we can jam in a day. Question: what is a topic or a speaker that would make Navigator a must-attend event for you? Let us know what conversation would make your decision to come even easier. Or register because you know it’s going to be great.
