We are seeking a detail-oriented Mixed Media Strategist & Coordinator to work behind the scenes on integrated media strategies, ensuring our internal teams are equipped to deliver exceptional results for our clients. This role focuses on using several data sources, including a heavy usage of clients first-party data, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and contributing to the strategic vision throughout the campaign lifecycle—from initial planning, to reporting and managing buying teams responsible for optimization. Responsibilities Strategic Support & Data Activation • ◦ Collaborate with the Head of Strategy and the Account Manager (client-facing lead) to inform media strategies using client first-party data, ad management platform data, market insights, and performance benchmarks. ◦ Help develop holistic channel plans (digital, social, traditional, etc.) based on strategic direction, identifying optimal platforms, targeting, and flighting to achieve client goals. ◦ Assist in refining strategies pre-sale and post-sale, providing internal teams with clear briefs, data insights, and recommended tactics. Internal Coordination & Resource Management • ◦ Act as the internal point person to ensure media buying, planning, and creative teams have all the information they need to execute campaigns effectively. ◦ Develop and maintain media vendor timelines and budgets, ensuring that all deliverables are met on schedule and on scope. ◦ Work closely with internal buyers, freelancers, and vendor partners to secure necessary media placements, assets, and specifications. ◦ Manage internal buyers, guiding their buying strategies and supporting their growth within the org. Campaign Setup & Execution Oversight • ◦ Support the preparation of internal media briefs and supporting documentation for campaign launch. ◦ Oversee the accuracy of media placements, tracking parameters, and quality assurance checks to ensure campaign integrity prior to launch. ◦ Coordinate with the Account Manager to ensure strategies are translated into actionable tasks for media buyers and future analysts. Measurement, Reporting & Dashboard Management • ◦ Maintain and update TapClicks dashboards, ensuring internal teams have real-time access to campaign performance data. ◦ Aggregate data and insights for internal reporting, turning performance metrics into actionable recommendations for optimization and future strategic direction. ◦ Assist in the preparation of decks and reports that the Account  Manager will present to clients, contributing analytical insights and working with planning/buying teams for proposed optimizations to drive ongoing improvements and expansions. Continuous Improvement & Ideation • ◦ Stay informed of industry trends, emerging platforms, and tools that can improve campaign performance and internal workflows. ◦ Identify opportunities to refine internal processes, from workflow management to data activation practices, to enhance efficiency and overall campaign quality. ◦ Collaborate with internal teams to brainstorm upsell/cross-sell recommendations, ensuring the Account Manager has data-driven insights to share with clients. Qualifications • 5+ years experience in media planning and media strategy, within an agency setting. • Familiarity with digital and traditional media landscapes, including paid search, paid social, programmatic, and emerging channels. • Experience and comfort managing direct reports and delegating work out to team members. • Experience working with project management tools (ClickUp, Asana, Basecamp, etc.) to manage timelines, deliverables, and internal resources. • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with reporting platforms (e.g., TapClicks) to aggregate and interpret performance data. • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple internal workstreams simultaneously. • Clear, concise communication skills suitable for internal team coordination. • Adaptability and problem-solving abilities, with a desire to identify process improvements and enhance team workflows. • A team-oriented mindset and comfort working behind the scenes to support overall client success.
