The Senior Ad Operations Specialist, Paid Social will join a team responsible for Farm Journal digital campaigns from conception to completion. Operational tasks include order entry, creative trafficking, ad tag troubleshooting, optimization, and reporting of social digital campaigns within multiple channels. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and has a quick-thinking analytical mind. The candidate is someone with hands-on experience building, and planning audiences. The candidate must be able to adapt to various digital platforms, manage a sizable amount of inbound communication with speed and precision, and demonstrate a proven track record of satisfying the customer. Familiar with all digital media tactics, including display, audio, native, and video. Must have the ability to strategically integrate digital tactics based on performance or awareness objectives to drive optimal results. In addition, the Senior Ad Operations Specialist, Paid Social, will contribute to overall Farm Journal digital thought leadership and an industry leading digital operations team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities These duties include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Work collaboratively in a matrixed structure to execute and deliver on all digital campaigns. 2. Oversee the execution, management, and optimization of social media plans across multiple channels, including but not limited to Facebook (Meta), LinkedIn, Snapchat, Twitter (X), YouTube, and TikTok. 3. Take ownership and serve as the primary subject matter expert for trafficking and optimizing a proprietary product within Facebook Business Manager, ensuring effective delivery and performance of paid social campaigns. 4. Analyze and resolve complex issues based on in-depth knowledge of paid social and ad-serving platforms 5. Mentor the digital team on managed tasks and projects while upholding campaign performance and client satisfaction. 6. Execute and optimize digital campaigns 7. Maintain current knowledge and expert understanding of social platforms, leveraging this expertise to support and educate both clients and internal teams. 8. Stay abreast of industry trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates to inform strategy. 9. Analyze and maximize ROI 10. Support ongoing projects, monitor vendor trends and benchmarks Skills/Professional Experience These qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following: Core Competencies: • Analytical. • Technical Expertise. • Initiative. • High integrity. Required: • BS/BA degree in a related area (marketing, data analytics, business administration). • 3+ years direct experience in social campaign management. • Proven aptitude for growth and capacity to learn. • High level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. • Advanced expertise in the digital and paid social ecosystem. • In platform experience across major social platforms. • Highly self-motivated. • Problem solver, not a problem alerter. Desired: • Prior work with digital/social campaigns and platforms (Facebook/LinkedIn). • Experience with audience building. • Microsoft Excel skills:Pivot tables, vlookups and other functions. • Advanced understanding of pixels, tag placement and campaign measurements such as impressions, reach and CTR.
