Description

TheaterMania (part of AudienceView), a top digital platform for theater and live events in North America and beyond, seeks a dynamic individual to join our advertising sales team. Initially, this role will involve supporting a senior seller, with the goal of eventually learning to close deals and manage a quota independently. The position also involves gaining knowledge in other business areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn various aspects of a digital media business. The ideal candidate is adept at multitasking, enjoys research and outbound prospecting, and likes interacting with people.   What you'll do: Main Responsibilities- 80%  • Research potential advertising prospects and compile lists including contact information • Make outbound calls and emails to try to engage with potential prospects • Pull campaign performance reports to deliver to senior sellers and clients • Become proficient in the TheaterMania value proposition and be able to articulate why an advertiser would benefit from working with us • Respond to inbound inquiries • Support Senior Account Executive with current campaigns and other follow ups • Support Ad Ops team as needed Additional Responsibilities-20%  • Learn the TheaterMania Gold Club membership business and support existing Manager as needed. This includes responding to customer emails and setting up shows in our system • Learn how to list a show in the TheaterMania CMS and add shows as directed • Learn the editorial CMS and be able to write content as directed by the Editorial team What you'll need: • As part of the role, this person must be able to use Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Meta, Google Ad Manager and other tools to perform their duties.  Training will be made available • This person must be able to multi-task and not get overwhelmed by the lack of routine, at times • Interest in theater a plus, but not required • Ability to work remote and be self-disciplined • Responsiveness is a must.  We work in a fast-paced environment  • Candidate must have a positive attitude and be able to work with multiple personalities while maintaining a supportive and sunny disposition • 1+ years outbound prospecting experience a plus • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills   How we hire - here's a brief overview of our recruitment process:  • Screening & Resume Review: Our Talent Acquisition team will evaluate all resumes and select candidates for a video screening call for 30 minutes. • Hiring Manager Interview (30 minutes): Meet with the hiring manager to speak in detail about your relevant experience and learn more about the role. • Meet More of the Team (30 minutes): Meet more team members to learn more about the work culture and expectations.
