Position is based in The New York Times Office POSITION OVERVIEW The New York Times is seeking an intellectually curious individual who is eager to create and optimize compelling programs for our advertising clients. Reporting into the Senior Producer, the Jr. Ad Solutions Producer is responsible for the day-to-day coordination, production and deployment of custom creative ad campaigns. Based in New York, the Jr. Producer works alongside internal Ad Operations, Sales Planning, Product, Creative and Sales teams and in partnership with the London-based Ad Solutions team. The candidate must be a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual able to work effectively within a team environment. The Jr. Producer will work on high volumes of digital campaigns, so the ability to remain organized and highly responsive with internal and external partners is essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ● Coordinating daily production responsibilities on schedule and with high client satisfaction, including but not limited to, leading kick off calls, communicating creative specifications, managing timelines, creative production and deployment of campaigns ● Reinforce the Ad Solutions strategy, rich media best practices and production processes established by Ad Solutions Manager, and play a critical role implementing these with internal teams and external clients ● Demonstrate versatility as a product offering evangelist and provide consultative, creative solutions that encapsulate what our clients want to achieve ● Familiarity with video compression a plus ● Familiarity with design tools like Figma and Photoshop a plus ● Work with our established custom unit vendors to streamline ad production while shepherding best practices for working pre through post sale ● Perform tasks as deemed necessary by the Senior Producer JOB SPECIFICATION & SKILLS ● Educated to B.S./B.A. level or equivalent ● Team player with a strong work ethic ● Interest in advertising and familiarity with the digital landscape ● Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, duties and projects in a fast-paced environment ● Strong professional written and verbal communication skills ● Excellent customer service skills ● Natural curiosity and aptitude for learning ● A problem solver with a keen eye for detail ● Online media and/or advertising experience is a plus.
