Role Overview Reporting to the CRO, the Director of Yield Optimization is the technical and strategic lead for Adapex’s optimization pod, overseeing a portfolio that exceeds 2B+ monthly impressions. You will set strategy, build playbooks, and run day-to-day auction tuning that drives sustained RPM growth for web, mobile, in-app, and CTV inventory. Key Responsibilities Auction Engineering • Tune Prebid timeouts, bid throttling, and parallel auctions for web, AMP, and server-side. • Lead A/B tests on: a) demand-path pruning and SSP fee structures; b) dynamic wrapper feature configurations by exploiting Prebid analytics; publish statistically valid uplift results. • Test new ad formats: e.g.: rich media… • Design dynamic floor-price algorithms (time-of-day, viewability) Yield Ops Process & Channel Expansion • Comprehensive site audits: pre-launch and quarterly diagnostics covering Core Web Vitals, ads.txt / sellers.json, viewability, privacy (TCF v2.2 / GPP), and device-specific nuances (AMP, SDK, CTV). • GAM quality checks: maintain a weekly dashboard for policy violations, IVT spikes, MCM seat hygiene, TCF errors, and s-chain anomalies; drive remediation within 48h. • Create and maintain yield playbooks for CTV SSAI and in-app SDK monetization. Data-Product Monetization • Design PMP / Deal-ID curation bundles for high-demand verticals • Package first-party data, high-attention placements, IAS/GARM brand-safe segments, with dynamic floors and seat-level bid multipliers. • Oversee data curation strategy: select segments, structure bundles, and ensure deal governance. Define and implement revenue models for curated deals • Define data-product roadmap, lead data-product team and liaise with Data Engineering. Client Revenue Strategy • Deliver quarterly business reviews for the Customer Success Team; convert data insights into actionable levers and 90-day plans • Develop and execute net-RPM growth road-maps for Tier-1 publisher partners. Data Management & Forecasting • Own GAM/Matrix (internal reporting tool) and Zoho dashboards for net RPM, discrepancy trending, and loss code analysis. • Produce weekly forecasts and scenario models; surface risks when revenue paces below target Team Leadership & Mentorship Build, mentor and grow a high-performing yield optimization team - set objectives, run performance reviews, and foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning. Cross Team Collaboration Strong ability to collaborate and influence across multiple teams including Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data Science and Customer Success, this Director will help drive unified monetization priorities across the entire organization. Ideal Profile • 10 + years in programmatic yield or ad-ops leadership (publisher, SSP, or ad monetization partner). • 5+ years of management experience with a team of 8 or more team members. • Deep hands-on expertise with Prebid (client & server), Google Ad Manager/AdX, Amazon APS/TAM. • Proven ≥ 20 % RPM lift through SSP mix optimization, dynamic floors, and PMP/Deal-ID packaging. • Experience designing and managing data curation deals, including implementing diverse revenue models • Skilled with CTV SSAI, VAST waterfalling, SDK bidding, identity solutions, and data-clean-room concepts. • Experience with and/or understanding of machine learning yield optimization techniques preferred, but not required. • Fluent in SQL/BigQuery/Looker; able to translate data-science outputs into tactical levers. • Exceptional client communicator; comfortable presenting executive-level QBRs. • Thrive in a fast-moving, high-touch environment.
