As a Data Engineer you will join a dynamic team supporting the management and sales team in establishing a new product opportunity related to data licencing. You will have the required experience of dealing with big datasets, ingestion methods, transformations and end client delivery of contracted data files. Additionality you will own the documentation and play books around data usage and monetisation across Kindred including but not limited to our Audience Logic platform which is used to pass our high value and intent based audiences into the programmatic ecosystem. You will be expected to represent Kindred and client meetings where required and be the technical expert on our datasets and use cases. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure environments with a focus on cost efficiency, scalability, and reliability in relation to data usage and transformation. • Lead initiatives for platform optimization, including scalability and cost efficiency • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance with industry standards • Eager and energetic – we're looking for someone with a super positive outlook, who’s willing to go the extra mile • Become the technical expert on Kindred’s various datasets and lakes. Understand how these sources are collected, processed and exported as needed. • Work with the commercial teams to propose and develop new data opportunities, additionally attend meetings with key partners and new clients. • Own Kindred’s audience platform (Audience Logic) from a data and analysis perspective ensuring we are building and monetising the highest value audience segments through our strategic partners. Required commercial experience within the following: • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong emphasis on AWS cloud services • Experience with designing, building and managing large-scale cloud infrastructure while ensuring best practices are followed • Experience with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (EKS) or Amazon ECS. • Expertise in implementing secure cloud solutions using AWS tools and services. • Proficiency in core AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudFront, and Route 53 • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, AWS CDK and Terraform • Experience with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (EKS) or Amazon ECS • Excellent collaboration skills, suitable for a remote and dynamic work environment • Strong communication skills to allow for client facing meetings. Nice To Have: • Experience in a fast-paced start-up environment, demonstrating the ability to be flexible and adaptable • Background in building and maintaining enterprise data systems or environments • Experience in the space of Ad Tech/Ad Platform, and SSP integrations • Experience or have some knowledge in another cloud technology preferably Azure Some of the perks include: • Fully remote • Competitive base salary
