AccuWeather is seeking a digital analytics expert to support how we collect, validate, analyze, and communicate insights across our digital platforms. You’ll play a key role in developing scalable data models, validating digital tracking, creating reports, and delivering actionable insights to support strategic product decisions. You will be part of our Digital Analytics team and will collaborate closely with product leaders, developers, and stakeholders across the organization. Your responsibilities will include documentation of data capture methodologies, measurement strategies, identifying KPIs, and delivering analysis that drives product improvements and business outcomes. We are looking for a problem solver and data storyteller who is comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and proactively delivering insights that shape strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about data and digital technologies, and eager to use them to enhance user experience and make a meaningful impact in the digital media space.   Key Responsibilities  • Monitor key metrics and trends to support product and business decision-making • Collaborate with product owners and key stakeholders to define relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), gather reporting requirements, and design effective analytics solutions • Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries to extract and analyze user engagement and customer journey data, providing detailed insights into behavioral patterns that inform product strategy and decision-making • Leverage data visualization tools to build dashboards and reports for cross-functional teams • Develop and maintain LookML models or similar data modeling artifacts to support scalable reporting • Present findings and strategic recommendations to product and business stakeholders • Perform QA and data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of digital analytics data; identify data gaps and propose improvements to ensure effective measurement • Maintain detailed documentation of data definitions, measurement strategies, and analysis processes Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Data or Business Analytics, Technical Marketing) or equivalent experience/training • 3–5 years of professional experience in digital analytics or a similar role • Proven experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar tools, with an understanding of web analytics data • Proficient in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python or R) • Familiarity with working on public cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) • Strong skills in data visualization and dashboard creation using Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools • Strong analytical mindset to interpret data and turn insights into actionable and measurable strategies • Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing environments (e.g., BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake) highly preferred • Understanding of statistical methods such as regression, forecasting, and experimentation frameworks • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify complex data and present to diverse audiences with clarity and confidence About you • Meticulously detailed.
