About this role Location: New York, United States of America Ozone is hiring an Account Manager to join our US Publisher Services team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2+ years of experience in digital media or adtech who’s ready to step into a high-impact, partner-facing role. As Account Manager, you’ll be the primary business owner for a portfolio of U.S. publisher partners — responsible for driving strategic value, increasing their revenue, and supporting long-term success.  This role is all about growing and strengthening publisher relationships, unlocking new opportunities, and delivering value through insight, execution and relationships. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across Business Development, Technical Account Management, Operations, and Product to ensure each partner’s needs are met and aligned with Ozone’s commercial goals. The right candidate brings a mix of account management experience, commercial curiosity, and strong analytical and communication skills, with a passion for using data to inform decisions and drive results. They’ll thrive on solving complex problems and growing quickly in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Primary Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary business owner for US publisher accounts, accountable for strategic and financial outcomes, with a sharp focus on data-driven performance management and decision-making. • Partner with publisher stakeholders to build joint business plans which align both our goals, using insights and analytics to drive growth, deepen relationships and achieve long-term success. • Monitor financial and operational performance, leveraging data to identify trends, surface growth opportunities, flag risks, and inform strategic direction. • Drive revenue growth by analysing account dynamics, uncovering upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and accelerating product adoption through data-backed commercial narratives. • Focus on long-term publisher success and retention by delivering consistent value, building trusted relationships, and providing thoughtful, hands-on account stewardship. • Drive partner satisfaction and loyalty by leveraging customer feedback, NPS insights, and performance data as key indicators to inform continuous improvement. • Deliver strategic QBRs and high-impact partner conversations grounded in data, benchmarks, and actionable commercial insights. • Coordinate across Ozone teams to ensure delivery of publisher-focused outcomes, aligning internal efforts with data-informed account strategies and growth plans. Required experience/ skills Professional experience in publisher account management or another client-facing role. • 2+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or strategic partnerships within digital publishing, ad tech, or martech. • Proven ability to convert data insights into compelling commercial narrative – turning insight into action and business impact. • Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, particularly in areas such as Prebid, RTB, DSPs, and SSPs. • Confident managing business and operational stakeholders, with excellent communication and storytelling skills — verbal, written, and visual. • Passionate about Ozone’s mission to support premium publishers and independent journalism.
